Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 May 2026. PropWatch is a static publication. We do not run user accounts, and we collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains the data that is collected when you read the site, subscribe to the newsletter, or interact with third-party services embedded on our pages.

What we collect

• Newsletter email — only if you subscribe. It is stored with our email provider and used to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any issue.
• Messages you send us — if you email our editorial, tips or advertising addresses, we retain that correspondence to respond and keep records.
• Aggregate usage data — anonymised, privacy-friendly traffic measurement (see Analytics below). We do not build personal profiles from it.

Cookies & advertising

We may display advertising served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. These vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand which articles are read and to monitor site performance. This measurement is designed not to track individuals across sites and does not require us to store personally identifying profiles.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers that operate the site (hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising) strictly to provide those functions, and where required by law.

This site is intended for adults making property decisions and is not directed at children under 18.
